Overdrive rewards on American Truck Simulator: rules and odds
Drive 1 hr 30 min a day on the Overdrive Québec American Truck Simulator server and open your daily candy: a 1% chance to win a Steam game key on the first day, 0.5 points more for each day in a row, up to 10%. Each day also brings one caviar try, at 1%. It is free, with no purchase, for players 16 and older who live in Canada. Every draw can be checked.
Who runs it
The organiser
The rewards are run by Overdrive Québec, the American Truck Simulator community of the Le Bunker QC Discord. For any question, write to us at lebunkerqc@gmail.com.
No purchase necessary. Taking part is free: just drive on the Overdrive server with the launcher. No donation, no subscription and no purchase gives you a better chance.
Eligibility
Who can take part
- Be 16 or older and live in Canada.
- Be signed in to the Overdrive community with your Steam account in the launcher, have accepted the rewards text and ticked the box “J’ai 16 ans ou plus et j’habite au Canada. J’ai lu les règles et les chances.” (I am 16 or older and I live in Canada. I have read the rules and the odds.)
- Have linked your Discord account in Le Bunker QC (the /lier command) and have the American Truck role. Your Discord account must be at least 30 days old, and you must have joined the Bunker at least 2 days ago.
- One win per PC per day, and one account per person. A Discord account that served another Overdrive account in the previous 90 days cannot be linked, unless the staff agrees.
- Staff may play. A staff member never reviews their own win: another staff member does. Staff may win a key, under the same rules as everyone.
When
The dates
- Start: October 18, 2026.
- End: until the keys run out.
- A day runs from midnight to midnight, Québec time.
- During the Halloween season the launcher calls it “Ton cadeau d’Halloween” (your Halloween gift); the rest of the year, “Ton bonbon du jour” (your daily candy). The rules are the same.
The prizes
Steam game keys
- At the start, 9 keys in all (9 games): Caveman World: Mountains of Unga Boonga, Metal Slug Tactics, PANELKI, Roadwarden, Settlement Survival, StrikeForce Kitty, Tales & Tactics, The Deed and Watchmen: The End is Nigh Bundle.
- Approximate value of each key: $1 to $33, at the usual retail price on Steam in Canada, in Canadian dollars, read on October 18, 2026. Approximate total value: $132.
- The keys left are shown live in the launcher. When no key is left there is no draw, and your streak is not lost.
- A key cannot be exchanged for money.
How to take part
The time that counts, the candy and the caviar
- The time that counts: 1 hr 30 min of driving in your day (truck moving, game not paused), on the Overdrive server. The server knows you are there by your Steam name in its player list.
- Against fake accounts: a name two accounts share at the same time counts for no one. A new account’s time starts counting after 2 days, and a changed Steam name’s 7 days after the change.
- The candy, one per day with 1 hr 30 min: a 1% chance on the first day, 0.5 points more for each day in a row with 1 hr 30 min, up to 10%, reached on the 19th day in a row. A missed day, a day under 1 hr 30 min or a win: back to 1%. A day’s candy can still be opened the next day, until midnight.
- The caviar, one try per day with 1 hr 30 min, win or lose: a 1% chance.
The odds
The odds, plainly
| Days in a row with 1 hr 30 min | Candy’s chance |
|---|---|
| 1 | 1% |
| 2 | 1.5% |
| 3 | 2% |
| 10 | 5.5% |
| 19 and more | 10% |
The caviar: 1% on every try. Each draw is independent: your chance does not depend on how many players there are, only on your streak. At most you get two draws a day: one candy and one caviar.
Verifiable
How a draw is made
- Each day has a secret “seed”, drawn at random by the server. Its fingerprint (SHA-256) is published a day ahead, and the seed itself is revealed the next day. Your draw’s result is computed from the seed and your public ID (your player code): with the revealed seed, you can redo the computation yourself.
- Every draw is written into a chained public log: a removed or changed line would show. Winners appear in full; losers cannot be recognised in it.
- In full transparency: the server knows the day’s seed before the draws. Technically, a person with access to the server’s master secret, the administrator, could foresee the day’s results. The published fingerprint only proves the seed was not changed afterwards.
If you win
After a win
- Your launcher tells you right away: “Gain en vérification” (win under review).
- The staff may review each win for 24 hours, or until it approves it, before your key is handed over (fake accounts, several accounts on one PC, the rules). At the opening, every win waits for a staff member’s approval, never the winner’s own. A win that breaks the rules is cancelled, and the key goes back into the draw. A banned winner, or one who erased their data, gets no key.
- To receive your key, you answer a mathematical skill-testing question in the launcher, for example “Combien font 7 × 8 + 15 - 6 ?” (what is 7 × 8 + 15 - 6?). After 3 wrong answers, the question changes.
- The key is shown to you alone, in your launcher, which does not keep it on your PC. Activate it in Steam: Games › Activate a Product on Steam.
- Your public name and the game you won are announced in the Le Bunker QC Discord, in Overdrive’s announcements, and stay in the public draw log. The key is never published.
Privacy
Your privacy, in short
The full text is the one you accept in the launcher, and the Rewards section of our Privacy page. In short: every minute, the launcher sends your driving time, the odometer, the game’s clock and a fixed mark of your PC (a pseudonym computed from the Windows ID, not anonymous data). Your play time is kept 60 days; a losing draw keeps your Steam account and the PC mark 60 days; a win keeps them longer, to hand you your key and check for abuse. You can withdraw your consent or erase your data at any time in the launcher; a win not yet claimed is then cancelled.
The rest
Other rules
- Any attempt to cheat (fake accounts, a name taken from another player, a program that imitates the game) cancels the wins and can lead to a ban.
- The organiser may stop or change the rewards; changes are announced on this page and in Discord. Wins already handed over stay valid.
- Applicable law: the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
