Radio Overdrive Québec: the truckers’ radio in American Truck Simulator

Radio Overdrive Québec is the community’s trucker radio: music for the road and short spots, on air 24 hours a day as a 128 kbit/s MP3 stream. You listen to it in American Truck Simulator: one line to paste into the live_streams.sii file, and it plays in your truck.

A radio for the road

The community radio, on air 24 hours a day. You listen to it in American Truck Simulator, not on this site: the steps below add it to the game’s radio list.

In your truck

In American Truck Simulator

  1. Close the game.
  2. Open the Documents\American Truck Simulator folder (it may be under OneDrive\Documents), then open live_streams.sii with Notepad.
  3. First, make a backup copy of the file, right next to it.
  4. In the live_stream_def block, under the last stream_data[…] line, add the line below, replacing N with the next number: if the last one is stream_data[41], write stream_data[42].

  1. At the top of the block, on the stream_data line without brackets, raise the number by 1 (42 becomes 43), then save.
  2. Start the game again: Radio Overdrive Québec is in the radio list.

The “Update from internet” button may erase added lines: keep your backup copy and add the line again if needed.
