Download the Overdrive Québec launcher for American Truck Simulator
The Overdrive launcher is a single free .exe for Windows 10 and 11. It checks your American Truck Simulator game, its version and the large-convoy setting, installs the Overdrive mod verified by SHA-256 and signs you in with Steam. It then shows the ID to paste into the game’s session browser. Its updates are signed and checked before they install.

An expected warning
Why Windows shows a SmartScreen warning
The launcher is not signed with a paid code-signing certificate; that is the founder’s choice. So on the first download, Windows SmartScreen may flag it as an unrecognized app.
If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. Check the file’s SHA-256 checksum first if you want to be sure it is intact.
After that, every launcher update is signed (Ed25519) and checked by the launcher itself before it installs. If our server does not answer, the launcher updates from GitHub.

Check the SHA-256 checksum
In PowerShell, this command computes the checksum of the downloaded file and compares it with the one published above. It answers True when the file is intact.

What the launcher does
Steam sign-in
Your Steam sign-in is verified by our server. Once you are signed in, the launcher shows you the server password.
Safety check
It checks your game, its version, the large-convoy setting, the time zones and the Overdrive mod’s checksum. The “Fix” button sorts out what is wrong.
Verified mod
It installs the Overdrive Québec mod and verifies it by SHA-256.
Signed updates
Signed with Ed25519 and checked, with GitHub as a fallback. The launcher also starts offline.
Driving presets
Arcade, Normal, Semi-realistic and Realistic: 26 settings, with ABS and traction control always on. In Realistic, stability goes to 0, air brakes are simulated and nothing is automated.

Release notes
Sécurité renforcée : les mises à jour du lanceur et le contenu de la communauté sont maintenant signés par deux clés séparées, et la clé des mises à jour ne quitte plus jamais l'ordinateur de l'administrateur. Un fichier « manifest.json » déposé à côté du lanceur (par exemple dans ton dossier Téléchargements) n'est plus lu, et ta connexion Steam n'est envoyée qu'au serveur de la communauté. Tu n'as rien à faire.
